Editing Questionnaire Evaluation

We decided to evaluate the questionnaire that we received back for our rough cut copy. This will hep to make improvements to our trailer. The focus group consisted of 10 people within our target audience. This as useful because we would know what our target audience wanted to improve our teaser trailer.
Question 1: All results suggested our trailer was of the Romance genre which is positive as it shows we have stuck to conventions of a typical romance trailer to make it recognisable.
Question2: 7 out of out focus group chose that there was the right amount of clips in our teaser trailer suggesting that it didn't give away too much. 2 people suggested that was too many and 1 chose that there wasn't enough. We will take these thoughts in to consideration when we come to our final edits.
Question3: In response to the focus group analysis we have decided to take out the scene of Chloe sat at the table, as it creates confusion and doesn't seem relevant
Question4: An improvement suggested was that we need more happy scenes in the trailer. With this taken in to account we may have to shoot more footage to add in to the trailer.
Question5: A large majority of our focus group agreed that we used the right type of lighting to reflect the feelings and emotions.
Question6: 8 out of the 10 we asked said that they wanted to watch our film after seeing the trailer. This shows that we are doing to right thing with our trailer and it just needs a bit of improving.
Question7: Some of the advice from our feedback suggest that we need a more powerful cliffhanger at the end to keep the audience enticed.
Question8: The least favorite scene was the phone scene. This created confusion amongst our audience and so to improve this we have decided to re film.
Question9: It was agreed that we had used a large variety of camera shots and angles to portray emotions and feelings.
Question10: Over half the focus group agreed that they could relate to the main protagonist.
Question11: Out of the ratings of 1-5(5highest,1 lowest) we received 4 people gave it a 3, 4 people gave it a 4, and 2 gave it a 5. We didn't get any low marks suggesting are trailer is on the right tracks.

Editing Questionnaire

WE created this questionnaire so we could show our target audience a copy of our rough cut. This focus group will then feedback to us so we know what we need to improve on and can put this in to action to make our teaser trailer better.
